Security

Your wedding data, handled carefully.

Veil Collab holds contracts, guest lists, and private conversations. Here's exactly how that information is stored, who can reach it, and how to get rid of it.

What we store

Your account details, the wedding workspaces you create or are invited to, and what you put in them — timelines, budgets, guest lists, tasks, messages, and uploaded documents such as contracts and invoices. We don't store full payment card numbers; card details are handled by our payment processor, never by us.

Encryption

All traffic to Veil Collab runs over HTTPS/TLS. Data and uploaded files are encrypted at rest on our managed cloud infrastructure. Passwords are hashed — nobody at Veil Collab can read yours.

Who can see what

Access is scoped to the wedding. A vendor invited to a wedding sees only the parts of that wedding shared with them — not your budget, not other vendors' contracts, not your other weddings. Planners see the clients who invited them. Couples control who is on their team and can remove anyone at any time.

Access controls

Every database read and write is enforced by row-level security rules tied to your signed-in account, so permission checks happen on the server, not in the browser. Sessions expire and re-authenticate rather than living forever.

We never sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, guest lists, or vendor relationships, and we don't hand your data to advertisers. We use a small number of service providers (hosting, email delivery, payments) strictly to run the product.

Deleting your data

You can delete uploaded files and workspace content at any time. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your personal data and the workspaces you own, apart from records we're legally required to retain such as billing history.
